When in Rome II

I did not realize that we would be in Rome on Palm Sunday.  On our first day in the city taking in St Peter’s Square is when it dawned on me after hearing the murmurs of others inquiring about the mass on Sunday lead by the Pope to begin the holy week.

On our last day in Rome we were able to attend mass lead by Pope Francis CCLXVI (Jorge Mario Bergoglio). It was such a special event and I feel incredibly blessed to have had that experience. It’s one I may never have again. Although, I hope not.  I took a few pictures which I will share below but I wanted to be truly present for that moment. Also, god was truly shining down on us during our stay in Italy. We had the most gorgeous weather the entire time.

Here are a few highlights from our last day. These were some of those not to miss places. Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Spanish steps & Pantheon.

Quick Tip: Rome wasn't built in a day and you won't see everything in one either. Plan out 1 maybe 2 sights a day to give yourself time to fully immerse yourself in the experience.

286 Rome was super special and I’m ready to experience the rest of what Italy has to offer.

Have passport. Will work for travel.
